Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains which cookies seotrainingcamp.com uses, why, and how you control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy. Casey Keith operates the site.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies can remember a choice, keep you signed in, or help a site count visits.

Cookies and storage this site uses

Analytics (only if you accept). Google Analytics 4 runs through the Google Site Kit plugin. It sets two cookies:

  • _ga: tells visitors apart. It lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_ followed by the Google Analytics container ID: keeps session state. It lasts up to 2 years.

Google Analytics uses these cookies to count visits and see which pages and links people use. Google receives the data and processes it under its own privacy policy.

Your choice (always). The cookie banner saves your answer in your browser’s local storage under the name stc_consent. It never leaves your browser and stays until you clear it.

Account sign-in (only if you sign in). WordPress sets cookies that keep you signed in, such as wordpress_logged_in and wp-settings. These cookies are needed for accounts to work. They expire when you sign out or after a set time.

What the site does not use

The site does not use advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or session recording tools. This is accurate as of the Last updated date.

If you decline

If you decline, Google Analytics does not set its cookies. Google Analytics can still receive limited signals that do not use cookies, such as the page you view and your browser type. The site does not use these signals to identify you.

Your choices

  • Use the banner to accept or decline analytics cookies.
  • Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, which reopens the banner.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. The site treats that signal as a decline.
  • Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the site from working.
  • Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

California residents

California law gives residents the right to know what personal information a business collects, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. The site does not sell personal information. It does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email casey@seotrainingcamp.com to make a request about your personal information.

Cookies from other sites

The site links to Facebook, Google Meet, Mastercoursereviews.com, and PirateSERP. Those sites set their own cookies when you visit them. If you use Sign in with Google, Google can also set cookies. This policy does not cover them. Read each provider’s policy.

Changes to this policy
