Our Story
How SEO Training Camp Started
I started SEO Training Camp in 2023. Not just because I wanted to. Because I had to. I live with multiple sclerosis and NMO. My time might be short. I needed to save what actually works before it was too late.
My friends needed real strategies. My business partners needed systems that last. My students needed ongoing help. So I built something bigger than me.
Every day is different when you’re sick. Some days are good. Others hit hard. But I keep going from my home office in Silver Strand, Oxnard, with my three cats keeping me company – JJ, Patch, and Boo Boo. I record episodes between treatments. I answer questions when I have energy. I share what I’ve learned over decades because knowledge shared is knowledge saved.
What started as a backup plan became something amazing. The group grew. Members began helping each other, discussing wins, solving issues together. They built the supportive space the SEO world needed. Today, SEO Training Camp proves something important: when you build with real purpose instead of chasing money, magic happens.
My health changes daily. But this group will last forever.

I don’t just teach SEO. I live it. For over ten years, I’ve built multiple agencies – businesses that keeps 99% of clients year after year. That’s not luck. That’s not smooth talk. That’s results that pay mortgages and grow real businesses.
Before SEO took over my life, I spent twenty-five years in tech. I managed old Token Ring networks in the ’90s. I led quality certification at AMAX Engineering in Silicon Valley. My time at IBM’s Research Triangle Park taught me something important: systems that last beat quick fixes every time.
Being smart helps. But caring about people matters more. As a lifelong MENSA member, I could have stayed comfortable in corporate jobs, solving puzzles for big companies. Instead, I chose to help real business owners. People who get screwed over by digital marketing agencies. I host daily Google Meet sessions for my syident – free help, no sales pitch, just advice. I’ve spoken at large seminars in other industries, but I get just as excited helping local shop owners with Google Business Profiles.
From my home office in Oxnard, California, I balance owning, not running, successful marketing agenies with multiple sclerosis and NMO. Some days are smooth. Others knock me down. But whether I’m updating the Treasure Map course, talking in Facebook groups, or donating blood to Red Cross, I stick to one rule: use what you know to help others up.
