Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal data seotrainingcamp.com collects, why it is collected, and what choices you have. Casey Keith operates the site and is responsible for the data it collects. Contact Casey Keith at casey@seotrainingcamp.com with any question about this policy.

What this site is

SEO Training Camp is the website for a private Facebook group. The site describes the group, a weekly live call, a course, and the PirateSERP software. The group itself runs on Facebook, not on this site. Facebook collects and uses your data under its own policy.

Data this site collects

Server logs. The hosting provider, Hostinger, records your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. The server uses this data to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 through the Google Site Kit plugin. Google Analytics records which pages you view and how long you stay. It also records the approximate location of your IP address, your device and browser, and which link brought you here. If you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner, it sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Email you send. If you email the address on the Contact page, the site owner receives your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. Your message is used to reply to you.

Accounts. The site includes registration pages for its course software. If you create an account, the site stores the name, email address, username, and any profile details you provide, together with a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile photo with the site. The site loads a Google script on its pages to support that sign-in option.

Profile pictures. If an account has a profile picture from Gravatar, the site requests it from Gravatar by sending a hash of the account email address.

Site email. The site sends account and system emails, such as sign-in or password messages, through an email delivery service. That service processes the recipient address and message content.

The site has no payment system. It does not collect card numbers or other payment details.

How the data is used

  • To deliver, secure, and maintain the site.
  • To understand which pages and links visitors use, so the content can improve.
  • To reply to messages you send.
  • To create and manage accounts you request.
  • To meet legal obligations.

The site does not sell personal information and does not use it for automated decisions about you.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time, and the site treats a Global Privacy Control signal as a decline. Read the Cookie Policy for the full list. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop the site from working. If you create an account, the site also sets cookies that keep you signed in.

Links to other sites

The site links to Facebook, Google Meet, Mastercoursereviews.com, PirateSERP, LocalisedSEO, and Casey Keith’s personal site. Each of those sites has its own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. Links to the Facebook group, the course, and PirateSERP include tracking parameters such as utm_source=seotrainingcamp.com. These parameters tell the destination site that you arrived from seotrainingcamp.com. They do not contain your personal data.

Who receives your data

  • Hostinger, which hosts the site.
  • Google, for analytics and the optional Google sign-in.
  • The email delivery service that sends site email.
  • Gravatar, for profile pictures, if an account uses one.
  • Authorities, if the law requires disclosure.

These providers can process data in the United States and other countries.

How long data is kept

Server logs and analytics data follow the retention settings of Hostinger and Google. Account data stays until you ask for deletion or the account is closed. Emails you send are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the personal data held about you. You can also ask to correct it, delete it, or limit how it is used. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have these rights under local law. Email casey@seotrainingcamp.com to make a request. Confirming your identity can be required before the request is processed. You can also contact your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. The site does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, email casey@seotrainingcamp.com and the data is deleted.

Security

The site uses HTTPS and a firewall on its hosting platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so the site cannot guarantee absolute security.
